OPCC Humberside

In late 2022, we were approached by the team at eski, to run some billboards for a domestic abuse campaign organised by the OPCC Humberside. The campaign came under the banner of ‘You are not alone’ and highlighted that domestic abuse happens throughout the year, including around the Christmas break. However, there is help at hand from local services in Hull.

The campaign ran for 4 weeks on the run up to Christmas on the Alight digital billboard on Anlaby Road in Hull.

This has started a regular series of short campaigns booked with eski on behalf of the OPCC Humberside on some of the Alight D48 screens covering the Humberside area.

The second campaign ran across July and August 2023. This again came under the ‘You are not alone’ banner and covered the fact that abuse can increase across the Summer months, however there was help available. For this campaign we ran a 4 week D48 campaign at Anlaby Road Hull and Brigg Road Scunthorpe.

In early 2024, we were asked to run an abusive behaviour around Valentines Day campaign in Hull and Scunthorpe. Again, we chose to use the Alight D48 screens on Anlaby Road Hull and Brigg Road Scunthorpe.

Using the D48 screens allowed the team at eski to provide a series of adverts for each campaign covering the different forms of domestic abuse and harassment that we could rotate around.

We are currently running a fourth domestic abuse campaign in Hull and Scunthorpe in July 2024.

We look forward to working with both eski and OPCC Humberside on future campaigns in the region.

The OPCC Humberside is the office of police and crime commissioner for Humberside. Their role is to hold Humberside Police to account on behalf of the public and improve areas where it is required.
