Food Hub ‘Hubba Hubba’
The Brief:
Although previous campaigns had been very successful for Food Hub, they knew for the next stage, they needed a fresh approach. They wanted a new creative that made the Food Hub brand both impactful and memorable and importantly, increased downloads of the Food Hub app.
For this they employed ABF Pictures, a creative agency from Manchester who came up with the ‘Hubba Hubba’ concept.
The whole campaign was designed to perform across multi-media platforms including TV, Out of Home, audio, cinema and social media.
We were tasked with booking the TV, OOH and audio campaigns.
Our approach
We knew this new creative was going to be a medium, long-term project and planned the media accordingly.
All media was booked to cover Food Hub’s key regions of the Midlands, northern England, the central belt and east coast of Scotland, plus Cardiff.
For phase 1 running in March, April and May, we booked 3 month campaigns across SKY Ad Smart and ITVX, Out of Home on 414 x D48 and 328 x D6 Alight screens and a full audio campaign with our friends at Audioadpro.
The first two weeks of the OOH run was allocated to a ‘tease’ campaign. The only message shown were the words ‘Hubba Hubba’, which was designed to create awareness and intrigue. This was also run on social media.
The full launch of ‘Hubba Hubba’ was then started mid-March across all other media options.
The result
Visibility of the ‘Hubba Hubba’ slogan has been fantastic and Food Hub have been very happy with the results so far. It is still very early days in the campaign, but all indications are this campaign will be the most successful one so far and that ‘Hubba Hubba’ feeling will last!
The plan is to continue on all media throughout the coming year and beyond.
