Nottingham Financial Resilience Partnership

We were contacted by Sophie Williamson, the Public Facing Communication officer for Nottingham Financial Resilience Partnership. She wanted to run billboard advertising in Nottingham to compliment their bus campaign.

Nottingham Financial Resilience Partnership (NFRP) are a registered charity whose aim is offer support and help to those with financial difficulties in the City. The Partnership is from every sector and the work includes issues of debt, income, access to banking and financial education. 

The timing of the campaign was critical, running from early January. A time of year that consistently sees people in financial difficulty.

With them being a charity, we were restricted by the budget available. We looked at several options but opted for the 6 x Alight digital billboards across the City. These digital screens are all located in high volume locations and offer real flexibility to the advertiser. 

We booked an 8 week campaign across these screens, starting in mid-January 2025. The client had two main messages which we ran in even rotation across the screens.

The two messages were:

Money worries – a problem shared is a problem halved

Debt Felt Heavy – taking back control was the way out
