Between us, the team at CG Advertising Ltd have spent decades working inside the media industry. We have actual working experience in radio, local TV, outdoor advertising and beyond. We know how it works. We know where the value is. And we know where advertisers sometimes get sold something that isn't quite right for them.

CG Advertising Ltd is the agency we'd have wanted to work with. It is why it was set up.

We don't have targets to hit for any particular media owner. We don't push products that don't fit. We listen to what you're trying to achieve, and we build campaigns around that. We recommend whatever combination of bus, billboard, TV and audio gives you the best possible return.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work across a broad range of media roles - from Commercial Manager at Notts County Football Club to looking after bus and tram advertising at Adverta, to senior roles in local TV and, more recently, over a decade in commercial radio.

That mix of experience means I’ve got a pretty rounded view of what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to advertising. Now, working agency-side, I use that knowledge to help clients make confident, well-informed choices across all kinds of campaigns.

For me, it’s all about making sure every penny works as hard as it can - and building partnerships that last.

Chris Greig - Director

I've been in advertising since 1991. Initially in local press, then commercial radio for over 17 years, including as Sales Director at a regional station. Then in 2015, I set up CG Advertising Ltd.

Why? The honest reason is after three decades in the industry, I'd seen businesses sold advertising that wasn't right for them, mainly because the salesperson’s priority was to hit a target, not to serve the client. I wanted to do things differently.

So, at CG Advertising, our only agenda is finding what works for your business. We say if something isn't right for your budget or your audience, and we recommend what is. That's not a sales pitch, it's just how we think advertising should be sold.

In January 2020, we were approached by the marketing team to discuss advertising options for the important Christmas period. They were looking at doing something different this year and wanted to discuss billboard advertising in Lincolnshire as an option.

We put forward suggestions including a 3, 6 and 12 month campaign. The UTC came back and booked the 3 month option. They expressed a desire to run their campaign on the board that you see when driving from Tritton Road towards High Street. This was then booked for all three months.
