Market Rasen Racecourse

We have worked with Market Rasen Racecourse on a couple of campaigns to date.

In December 2022, we ran a digital billboard campaign across 7 screens to promote their ‘Boxing Day at the Races’ event.

The campaign consisted of a 2 week run on the following Alight digital screens. The screens are Lincoln (1 screen), Scunthorpe, Skegness, Boston, Grantham and Hull (Anlaby Road and Clough Rd screens).

This was the first time they had run this type of campaign locally. They were very happy with both the process and the visibility the screens gave them. Ultimately, the event was a great success with record numbers attending on the day.

In January 2023, we were asked to put forward options for several events during the year. The main thrust was to be for the Summer Plate Ladies Day event in July and again the Boxing Day at the Races event in December.

Suggestions were made for all the requested events including bus and billboard campaigns.

Budgets meant that they wanted to initially concentrate on the Summer Plate Ladies Day event in July. However for this, they gave us a bigger budget to operate with. Several options were put forward and we eventually settled on a bus and digital billboard campaign.

The bus campaign ran out of the Grimsby depot. This gave coverage across North East Lincolnshire, down to Louth and across to Lincolnshire Coast. The campaign consisted of 10 x Lower Rears and 10 x Streetliners for 4 weeks from w/c 12th June.

The digital billboard campaign ran for 2 weeks from Monday 26th June, again across 7 x D48 screens operated by Alight. The screens this time were Lincoln (1 screen), Hull (Anlaby Rd screen), Sheffield Meadowhall (1 screen), Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Boston and Skegness.

The campaign for the Boxing Day event in 2023 will be live from 7th December. It will consist of 7 x D48 screens across Lincoln, Hull, Scunthorpe, Boston, Skegness and Grantham.
