We have looked after the First Direct Bank’s call centre recruitment advertising for several years. The recruitment advertising is for their call centres in Leeds and Hamilton. We have done this using a variety of Outdoor options such as billboards, bus and Adshel Live. We run several campaigns a year to fit in with their recruitment drives. It is important for the client to have a strong brand in both regions. This ensures that when they need to fill vacancies, they can do so quickly and effectively.
We achieve this by using an advertising mix which includes bus rears, 96 and 48 sheet billboards and 6 sheets. This includes both standard and digital options. The 48 and 96 sheets are in the major conurbations around both locations. The digital locations include shopping centres and train stations. We have also used Adshel Live across the high footfall areas in and around Leeds city centre.
However, the core mediums for campaigns are bus rears and billboards. The main reason is because these deliver the coverage and OTS (opportunities to see) the client needs. The campaigns are carefully planned to run in specific post codes in and around Leeds and Wakefield areas, predominantly in the suburbs of Leeds and towns along the M62/M1 corridor as the call centre is based here. The reason is analysis shows that most employees are based in this geographic area.
