TV ADVERTISING MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING ACROSS THE UK
Targeted, affordable, effective
TV remains the most trusted advertising platform
For many, TV advertising is the ultimate way to advertise as it gives them the power of both audio and visual.
Getting your business seen on TV means trust, credibility and success.
But how do you get there?
With a multitude of advertising options you can choose from, including traditional linear to addressable, data driven, what is right option for your business?
At CG Advertising we can help you navigate through the complexities and choose the most effective one for your business.
Frequently Asked Questions:
A - As always, it depends, as there are many factors to consider before we can put forward a campaign that suits your requirements.
For example, a country wide linear campaign on ITV1 will cost more than a similar option covering Yorkshire only.
A - Linear is what could be said to be the traditional way to advertise on TV. It is the placement of a commercial in real time around scheduled programming. This is normally on channels like ITV1, Channel 4 and SKY. It gives you a mass audience in well-established programming, but the advert is non-skippable. Once it has been broadcast, it has been broadcast.
Addressable TV advertising is the same, but different! This offers the advertiser the opportunity to be very specific with their target market and the area they want to advertise in using data-driven reach. Rather than being broadcast in scheduled programming, your advert is broadcast when your target market is watching. The best proponents of this are SKY Ad Smart.
A - The simple answer is yes. With linear advertising on ITV1 for example, the UK is split between 15 regions, and you can choose to be on which ones you want to advertise on.
With the SKY Ad Smart addressable option, you can be even more specific with the area you advertise in.
However, TV advertising is not that simple. This is where CG Advertising comes in.
