BILLBOARD ADVERTISING MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING ACROSS THE UK
Hard to miss. Hard to forget.
A well-positioned billboard, with a simple and striking creative, builds brand and familiarity, every day. All are located on busy roadsides and in city and town centres, putting your message in front of thousands of people who are already out and about, whether they're driving, commuting or just walking past.
Billboards come in different sizes and formats. The majority are 6 x 3 metre versions, but larger and smaller options are also available. All come in both the Classic paper and digital versions.
The Classic paper option gives advertisers a solus message for the duration of the campaign, whilst digital versions have advertisers in rotation.
At CG Advertising we can help you navigate through the complexities and choose the most effective locations for your business.
Frequently Asked Questions:
A - As with all advertising, it depends. There are many factors to consider before we can put forward a campaign that suits your requirements. A campaign targeting a single town will cost less than one covering a city or region, and the number of boards you use will also affect the price.
A - Yes. However, we need to work around the availability of each site to make sure you get the boards you want, when you want them. All billboard sites are sold on a first come, first served basis, so planning as far ahead as possible is always recommended.
A - A Classic paper billboard is booked in multiples of 2 weeks and carries a single printed poster, which will be the only advert seen on that board for the duration of the campaign. A paper poster will typically stay up for around 4 to 6 weeks before needing to be refreshed. A digital billboard is the same size but runs in rotation with other advertisers, usually on a 1 or 2 minute cycle. But because the advert is uploaded rather than printed, digital campaigns are quicker to set up and easier to change, making them a more flexible marketing option.
High Impact
Billboards are located in areas with high volumes of vehicle traffic and footfall, such as busy roadsides, commuter routes, and city and town centres. Thousands of people will see your message every day, whether they're behind the wheel or on foot.
Longevity of Message
You cannot switch off a billboard. Its size and location mean it's impossible to ignore, day or night. Billboards work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with an average dwell time of around 8 seconds, long enough for a strong, simple message to land.
Can not miss it
Classic paper billboards are booked in multiples of 2 weeks and run a solus message for the duration of the campaign, giving your message plenty of time to sink in. Digital billboards give advertisers the flexibility to update your creative and keep your campaign fresh and relevant.
Get results
A visually creative design, combined with a simple and single call to action, will get you noticed. This drives traffic to your website, increases enquiries and builds awareness that keeps your business front of mind. It's no coincidence that 95 of the UK's top 100 advertisers include billboards as part of their marketing strategy. If it's right for them, it's right for your business too.
