North East Lincolnshire Council Fostering
The Challenge
North East Lincolnshire Council Fostering approached us looking for help to raise awareness of their fostering services across the local area and encourage more people to consider becoming foster carers.
Our contact, Paul, who is relatively new to his role, was looking for guidance on the best way to use Digital Out of Home to reach local audiences effectively and make the available budget work as hard as possible.
Our Thinking
Rather than relying on one format, we recommended a carefully selected mix of digital screens to build visibility across different locations and everyday journeys.
The campaign combines D6 screens in Immingham with digital screens at the Shell garage forecourt in Grimsby, giving the fostering message repeated exposure to people as they travel around the area.
We are also adding in a new DM6 screen in Immingham as soon as it is installed, further strengthening the campaign’s presence locally.
The Approach
The campaign is running for four weeks across 10 digital screens in total, with the additional DM6 joining the schedule as soon as it becomes available.
By combining D6 formats with forecourt screens, the campaign reaches audiences in different environments, helping to build frequency while keeping the message highly local and relevant.
Throughout the planning process, we worked closely with Paul to advise on formats, locations and the overall media mix, providing support from the initial enquiry right through to the campaign going live.
The Outcome
The campaign went live to a fantastic response from the client. The NELC Fostering team were delighted with how the creative looked across the screens and even sent us photographs from the locations on the very first day.
They have been equally positive about the service they received throughout the process, particularly valuing the guidance and support provided when making their media choices. So much so, they have already provided us with a lovely testimonial and shared their enthusiasm for the campaign on LinkedIn.
Most importantly, they hope to work with us again soon.
