BUS ADVERTISING IN NOTTINGHAM MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING ACROSS THE UK

Get noticed. Be remembered

Bus advertising puts your brand right in the heart of the communities you want to reach. Buses travel through busy city and town centres, residential areas and main routes every day, giving your message repeated exposure.

There are plenty of reasons to consider bus advertising:

  • Highly visible - buses are instantly recognisable and hard to miss.
  • Always on the move - operating 7 days a week across busy routes.
  • Repeated exposure - your message is seen time and time again.
  • Local coverage - reach specific towns, cities or wider areas.
  • Part of the community - buses are a familiar part of everyday life.

From bus rears and side panels to full wraps, there are options to suit most types of business and budgets, whatever the campaign message.

At CG Advertising we help you choose the right format, the right locations and the right number of buses to make sure your campaign gets seen, noticed and remembered.

We find the right solution for your business

This all starts with a conversation.

Taking the time to understand your reasons for advertising and your budget means we can recommend the right option for the right reason.

Bus advertising in Nottingham is a fantastic way for any business to get noticed!

Buses are something most people take for granted. However, they do play an important part in everyday life.  Drivers of other vehicles will see a bus on just about every journey they take. This is particularly true in a busy city like Nottingham.

By putting your message on the buses out of the Nottingham depot, you will not only be seen, but will be remembered.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q - How much does bus advertising cost?

A - As always, it depends, as there are many factors to consider before we can put forward a campaign that suits your requirements.

In simple terms, the larger the area you cover, the more buses you will need and the more it will cost…..and visa versa.

Q - Can I choose the bus route my advert goes on?

A - No, but there is a very simple reason for this.

Although the bus route number will always be the same so passengers know they are on the right bus, the same bus does not do the same route every day. Therefore, your message will seen across a much wider area than one route, which is significantly more beneficial for your campaign.

Q - What is the best place to advertise on the bus?

A - All options are equally as good; they just target people differently.

Adverts on the rear predominantly targets vehicles running behind the bus. Adverts on the side predominantly target both pedestrians and vehicles as the bus passes by.

High Impact

Bus advertising works best when it delivers a high impact and simple advertising message. This is seen by people during their normal daily routine on a daily basis. It provides an important reminder of your sales message in the geographic area the business operates in.

Longevity of Message

Campaigns run in multiples of 2 weeks. Although you can start at 2 weeks, we highly recommend you start with a minimum of a 4 week campaign. Longer if possible, ideally in multiples of 4 weeks.
Your poster will last for 4 to 8 weeks so running a campaign for this duration is a much more cost-effective way to spend your budget.

BUS ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

bus rear ad

Bus Lower Rear

This panel is on both double and single deck buses. It specifically targets vehicles running behind the bus and has an average dwell time of 48 seconds.

streetliner

Bus Streetliner

This panel is on the side of a single deck bus. It targets both pedestrians and vehicles as they pass by. Typically the average dwell time will be 13 seconds but will be significantly longer if the bus is parked.

T-SIDE

Bus T-Side

This unusually shaped advert is on the driver’s side of a double deck bus. This predominantly targets pedestrians and vehicles as they pass by, but the size, shape and height of the advert make this incredibly visual and can be seen from a distance.

SUPERSIDE

Bus Superside

This panel is on the other side of a double deck bus to the T-Side. The panel shape and size is similar to the Streetliner on a single deck bus, but the size and height of the advert make this incredibly visual and can be seen from a distance.

FULL BUS WRAP

Bus Full wrap

The whole bus is wrapped with a vinyl poster. This can be a single design, or different message on each side of either a single or double deck bus. This is an excellent way to both grab attention and be memorable as it will be seen from all angles. The nature of these mean you ideally keep them for 6 to 12 months.

bus mega rear

Bus Mega Rear

This is similar to the full vinyl wrap but will predominantly be seen by vehicles running behind the bus. However, it will be very visual to pedestrians when the bus is stationary.

As with the full wrap, the most cost-effective way to use these is over a 6 to 12 month period.
