AD VANS ADVERTISING MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING ACROSS THE UK

Mobile. Visual. Targeted.

Ad vans offer a visual and mobile option for advertisers who want to either compliment other marketing activities or need to target and be seen in hard to reach towns.

The mobile, highly targeted nature of these vans, make them an ideal form of advertising for all types of campaign. These would include store openings and recruitment. Regularly used by Colleges and Universities during enrolment periods, they can hit potential students and their influencers with a direct message at a specific time.

There are two main options – traditional printed vans and digital vans.

  • Digital vans have 3 sides of advertising space, two sides and the rear. These take both static and motion advertising and can run multiple adverts across the day.
  • Traditional printed vans normally have an A-frame on the back providing advertising space on the two sides. These printed posters are great if you have one specific message to promote.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q - How much do Ad Vans cost?

A - As always, it depends, as there are many factors to consider before we can put forward a campaign that suits your requirements.

A campaign using one van in one area for one day will cost less than a campaign requiring multiple vans across multiple days. If your campaign locations require the Ad Van team to stay overnight, then this is an extra cost you will need to factor in.

Also, we need to factor in whether the bus stop is a Classi paper or digital version as these are priced differently.

Q - How long do you book an Ad Van for?

A - These are booked on a ‘per day’ basis with the day normally lasting for 7 to 8 hours. Each campaign is based on your target locations. If travel to and from these is sensible, then this will all be included in the day rate. However, if travel time is too excessive and overnight stays are required, you will need to book multiple days.

Q - What is the difference between printed and digital vans?

A - The traditional printed van normally has an A-frame on the back giving the advertiser two locations to place their advert. The nature of printed posters is you will only have 1 poster per side.

Digital vans normally have a box on the back providing 3 sides of advertising; two sides and the rear. They can normally take both static and motion adverts and multiple versions of each. Motion is invariably only ever used when the van is stationary.

High Impact

Advertising on Ad Vans delivers a high impact advertising message to both pedestrians and people in vehicles. Whether stationary or on the move, the Ad Van will be noticed by pedestrians, drivers and commuters.

Longevity of Message

Ad Vans are booked on a daily basis, but they will spend the full day in your specified location. Digital vans give advertisers 3 large spaces to promote a message where are the traditional paper Ad Vans will give two.
