David Wilson Homes Yorkshire West asked us to work on an outdoor campaign. It was for their prestigious new Garnett Wharfe riverside development in Otley. The campaign needed to compliment their existing marketing for this development.
The purpose was to target professionals working in and around Otley to encourage them to live locally. But also those who commuted to nearby Leeds but still wanted to live locally.
CG Advertising looked at various outdoor options including bus advertising. We decided to run a billboard campaign because of it’s unique visual impact. We booked a series a series of 48 and 96 sheet billboards around Otley. These allowed the client to capture commuters as they travelled to and from work.
The new apartments looked fantastic and the client wanted to show this. The use of sharp photography allowed them to create a strong image and portray a specific lifestyle. The campaign had the desired effect. It created interest and desirability amongst the target market and increased the number of enquiries.
The reaction from everyone was fantastic and the development quickly sold out.
